Hi, there this week we visited Hirsty’s Family Fun Park in Hemsby. Having been to this attraction previously we were looking forward to our latest visit to see what new attractions had been added. As always the park has done an amazing job with the new floor bouncers the kids absolutely loved every moment of it. This year the Mega maze has been made in the shape of a queen’s corgi to celebrate the queen’s platinum jubilee.
To start with the kids began on the Tractors and then following that made their way over to the beginner’s maze. This is a maze made of wooden fences and is great for practice before you hit the big maze. When you enter the park every child is given an activity pack with stickers to add to the interactive element of the whole day.
Once we had completed the maze we made our way over to the welly golf which is basically crazy gold but with a difference. You have a welly on a stick with a tennis ball as your golf ball. You have many themed holes to complete which makes this a lot of fun for all ages you do get a scorecard but we didn’t end up using this.
Next up we joined the Bucket Tractor for a ride around the outside of the Mega Maze. Due to the dry spell, we are currently having this made it extremely dusty and meant we came off the ride looking like characters from the Simpsons Doh! But kids being kids this didn’t stop them and they wanted to go on again and again.
Now we felt it was time to take on the Mega Maze I would advise against taking a pushchair in the maze as this can be very difficult and could even result in breaking a pushchair if you are not careful. That being said the kids loved it and it took a while walking around in circles not getting lost along the way. When we finally made it out to the other side of the maze you are able to climb up on a bridge which goes over the top of the maze. This allows you to see just how amazing the maze truly is.
There are also lot’s more activities in the Fun park including slides, bouncy castles, trampolines zip lines, Go Carts and lot’s more. You can choose to do a few hours here or a whole day and by the end, the kids will be nice and tired!
